Sports day
This year’s Carrowmenagh Sports will take place on Sunday, July 1, Commencing at 2.30 pm. With all the usual attractions, this promises to be a great day of fun and entertainment for all ages. Sideshows and events will include 5-a-side football, penalty kick, mini-golf, tug-o-war, horseshoe throwing, children’s and adult’s races, fancy dress, bonny baby. Little Miss Tremone, Master of Tremone and Glamorous Granny. The Sports Queen will be selected on the day and the main attraction for the children will of course be the bouncy castle. Refreshments will be available with the ice cream and chip vans in attendance. Don’t miss a great day out for all.
Yoga

Carrowmenagh FC
Lotto numbers drawn on 20th May were 1, 12, 14, 17. There was no jackpot winner. Feis
Feis Domhnaigh will run again this year for the first time in eight years. It will run from 22nd to 24th June. Syllabus will be available shortly. Any queries, contact Danielle on 0863172576.
Golf Classic
Ballyliffin Golf Club are holding a golf classic, with over €3,000 in prizes, this Friday June 1st in aid of four local charities, Inishowen Disability Action Group, Inishowen Women’s Outreach, White Oaks, Radharc Na Sleibhte SRU Carndonagh. Host families
Host families are being sought for Spanish/Basque students from Thursday 28th June until Thursday 26th July. Families in towns and rural areas who have children aged between 13 and 17 years of age can get further details by ringing Patricia on 074 9361398 or 0863627176.

The Cairn Greencastle

Names are now been taken for a First Aid class commencing in September in Serenity House, Moville.
Bus tour

Scottish trip
A trip is being organised for a weekend break in Scotland, to visit the Highland Show and a day trip to Edinburgh from 22nd -24th June2007. The price per person sharing is £150; a deposit of £50 will secure a seat. The price includes the coach, ferry and two nights B&B in a Glasgow City Centre Hotel. Volunteers needed
Would you like to meet new people and learn new skills. Good Morning Inishowen is a new service for Older People in Inishowen. If You have 2 or 3 hours to spare each week and You would like to get involved with Older People in the community then You might be interested in becoming a Volunteer at the Buncrana Centre. Volunteers who are recruited and trained then participate in making calls to Older People in the Inishowen area.
