Sympathy
Widespread sympathy was evoked by the death which took place in Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry of James O’Kane, Tirscullion, Culdaff. The deceased, who was in his early nineties, was a well known and highly respected member of the local community. He will be keenly missed by all who knew him. His funeral to St Mary’s Church, Bocan was large and
representative. Requiem Mass was celebrated by his grand nephew Fr Paddy O’Kane, assisted by Fr Jim McGonagle and Fr Joseph Morris who also officiated at the graveside in the adjoining cemetary. Deep sympathy is extended to his brother Dominic and sister Mary, his grandnephews and grandnieces and the wider family circle. May his soul rest in peace.
