Christmas Bazaar
The Clonmany NS Parents Committee presents a Christmas Bazaar in St. Mary’s Hall, Clonmany on Sunday December 2 at 5pm after the lighting of Christmas lights in the Square. The Bazaar will feature handcrafts made by the children of Clonmany School. There will also be bric-a-brac; home-baking; the good ole rickety wheel with many fantastic prizes. There will also be a special appearance of Santa and his fire-engine. All proceeds in aid of new school equipment. Light refreshments will be served.

The James Connolly Day Centre
The Day centre will have a table at the car boot sale on Saturday December 1. There will be home made Christmas cakes and puddings, flower arrangements, bric-a-brac etc. and tickets will be on sale for a beautiful Christmas Hamper. Your support for this worthy cause would be greatly appreciated.

Mass for Deceased members
Ballyliffin Golf Club will hold its annual mass for Deceased members in the Clubhouse on Friday November 30 at 7pm.

Christmas Swim
The 10th Annual Swim at Leenan Beach will take place on Christmas morning at 10am in aid of the Children’s Ward and Nursery at Letterkenny Hospital and the Donegal Down’s Syndrome Association. Table Quiz
Urris GAA will be holding a table quiz in the Rusty Nail on Friday evenings starting on December 7. Every week there will be a ticket for the Club’s Development draw on offer to the winning team. Make sure to come along early to get a good table. The quiz will start around 9.30pm so gather your team up now and get swotting in preparation.

Child Protection Course
Any adult who hopes to be involved in the management of youth/school teams or the supervision of any underage activities – soccer, gaelic, athletics, national school teams, youth club activities etc is required to hold a Child Protection Certificate. An opportunity for anyone interested in acquiring such a certificate is due to be held in St. Brigid’s Youth club on Tuesday December 11 at 7pm. The entire course will be delivered on the night. Rashenny NS
Parents of children who will be attending Rashenny N.S. during the next 5 years are asked to contact the school and leave details to enable further projection of numbers.

Information session
Leargas is holding an information session on funding available under the Grundtvig Adult Education Programme on Tuesday 18th December at 12noon in the Inishowen Partnership offices (CAIT Suite). The session will introduce and explain activities available for funding under Grundtvig, it will also explain the application procedures to participate in these activities

25 Card Drive
St. Brigid’s Boxing Club will hold a 25 Card Drive in Ballyliffin Golf Club on Friday, November 30 at 8pm. Tickets 10 euro each and there will be a supper served.

Resource Centre
Fitness Class for women Monday morning from 10 to 11am everybody welcome. Circuit training continues on Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 8pm. This is followed by men’s circuit training from 8.30 to 9.30pm. The car boot sale will take place on Saturday, December 1 from noon to 4pm. Clonmany Tug-o-war Club
Clonmany Tug-o-war Club currently have tickets on sale for their annual draw. 1st prize: 12,000 euro; 2nd prize: 3,000 euro;; 3rd prize: 1,000 euro; plus many more great prizes. Tickets cost 100 euro; each and the draw is limited to 350. The draw will take place in The Ballyliffin Hotel on Saturday December 8. Clonmany Shamrocks Lotto
The Shamrocks Lotto numbers drawn on November 18 were: 3, 11, 19, and 22. There was no winner of the Jackpot and this has now risen to 7,900 euro;. The winners of the 20 euro; consolation prizes were: 1st & 2nd. Neil Kemmy, Ballyliffin. 3rd. Anne McGonigle, Cloontagh.
