Alzheimer’s Tea Day

Trip to Glasgow

An overnight trip to Glasgow will take place this Saturday, April 5 for Celtic and Motherwell game staying in the City Hotel. Match tickets optional. For further details Tel 9382327.

 

Gym Carndonagh

Community Project

A new Community Employment Project is due to commence in the area in April. This project will be based in Culdaff, Carrowmenagh and Gleneely areas.Vacances exist for General workers. Grand Draw

Carrowmenagh FC have tickets out for their first Grand Draw ever. Prizes: first prize – Mitsubishi Colt; second prize - 2,000 euro cash; third prize – two nights in one of Donegal’s top hotels, Harvey’s Point, and twelve other fabulous prizes. LottoDraw

Carrowmenagh FC Lotto numbers drawn on 23 March were 2, 19, 22 and 23. There was no Jackpot winner. Winners of 20 euro were Andrew McLaughlin, Falmore; Helen Kelly, Gleneely; Mary McGettigan, Lecamy; Brian Duffy, Ard Foyle Moville; Caitlin and Calvin P Crumlish, Gleneely. The next draw on Sunday 31 March with a jackpot of 7,700 euro.

 

Golden Goal Draw

The winner of the Glen Resident’s Group Golden Goal draw was Lilly McLaughlin on ticket number 59 with a prize of 40 euro.

Returning to Education

Do you feel you missed out on education when you were younger? Are you interested in returning to Education? This is your chance. The certificate in Preparatory Studies will be commencing at Serenity House. This is a one-year full-time course specially designed for mature students returning to education who would ultimately continue to third level. This is a nationally accredited Foundation Certificate, which will open the doors to higher education anywhere in Ireland. Caring for Elderly

If you would like more information regarding entitlements, respite support groups and other services Diane Donnelly will be holding a number of information Drop in Clinics in the Community Hospitals. Last Monday of every month, from noon -2pm and in the Carndonagh Community Hospital last Tuesday of every month in the Buncrana Community Hospital.
