Treasure Hunt

All you treasure hunters out there should get yourselves ready for the Inishowen 100 Pub Treasure Hunt in aid of Lough Swilly Lifeboat on Saturday, April, 12. Registration takes place at the Square Bar, Clonmany at 2.30pm with the bus leaving Clonmany at around 3.pm. Treasure hunters in cars are also welcome to take part – registration for cars will finish at 4pm. There are no time constraints on the treasure hunt with your answers deciding the winners. All prizes have been sponsored. The bus will return to Clonmany at approximately 10pm - the results will be given at approximately 11.30pm also in the Square Bar. The cost of the event is as follows: 30 euro per person on the bus which includes the treasure hunt, spot prizes on the bus and a light bite on the way. People participating in cars are 40 euro per car. All seats on the bus must be booked in advance. Irish Seniors Open

Accommodation is needed in the Ballyliffin area between Monday, June 16  and Sunday, June 22. Anyone with a suitable house to let in the Ballyliffin area can forward their details to Ballyliffin Golf Club on (074) 93 76119.

Youth Academy registration day takes place on Saturday April 12 2008 at 4.00pm. All Ballyliffin Golf Club Juniors & juveniles are welcome to attend.

Laptop Project

Inishowen Development Partnership is currently recruiting participants who have previously completed the TEACH IT Programme the opportunity to complete FETAC Level 4 (Computer Applications) from the comfort of their own homes. Clan Clonmany

Community Compost Workshop will be help in Clonmany on April 17. Further details on this course are to follow later. There will also be a course in everyday cooking and baking – which will commence on April 24. Fee for this course is €30 and pre-booking is essential. Contact 9376193 if you have any questions

Rasheny FC Grand Draw

The annual presentation dance and draw takes place on Sunday, May 4. First prize in the draw is 10,000 euro cash with many other valuable prizes. Amongst the prizes are : a  trip for 2 to Las Vegas; a week for 2 in Portugal;  a 46 inch TV; a year’s membership for 2 at Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa; the hire of a marquee with food supplied for 40 people; a lap top computer; a weekend for 2 in Paris and a mountain bike. Tickets are priced at 130 euro – with a meal for 2 on each ticket.  They are now on sale from committee members.

 

Resource Centre

Keep-fit classes for women every Monday morning from 10 - 11am and Wednesday evenings from 7 - 8.15pm. There is also a keep-fit session for men every Wednesday evening from 8.30 - 9.30pm.

Disco dancing on Wednesday evenings from 5 – 6.30pm. New-comers are always welcome. If you would like more details call Jacinta on 086 3614206.

 

St Mary’s Underage Football

Training for the St Mary’s Under 16 squad will take place in Shamrock Park, Clonmany on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. Everyone welcome to come and tryout for the team.

 

Clonmany Shamrocks Lotto

The lotto numbers drawn on March 30 were: 4, 5, 12 and 21. The jackpot went unclaimed and has now risen to €8,850. The winners of €20 were: Frances Doherty, Gortfad, Eimear T. McGonigle, Cloontagh and Lorcan McGonigle , Ard Colgan.

Urris Match and Win
