Sponsored Walk for Alan Doherty
There will be a sponsored walk in aid of the Alan Doherty Fund on Sunday, May 18 at 3pm. The walk will be leaving St Mary’s hall, Clonmany and going via Binnion, Tullagh, the Rusty Nail in Crossconnell and back to the hall again where refreshments will be served to all participants. Sponsor cards are available by contacting Eddie on 9376781 or Breege on 9376391. Later that night at 10.30pm there will be music and a raffle in James Tams, Clonmany also in aid of the fund. All sponsor cards returned by that time will be entered into a special draw.
Tiernasligo Parents Association
There will be a meeting in the school on Tuesday, April 15 at 8pm. This meeting is for the parents of children receiving First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
Foyle and Donegal Hospice Social evening
The Foyle & Donegal Hospices Buncrana Support Group, present a social evening of Entertainment & Floral Art Exhibits in the Lake of Shadows Hotel, Buncrana on Thursday, April 24 at 8pm. Admission is 5 euro including a savoury supper. Approximately one hundred displays & various prizes (all donated) will be raffled on the night. Entertainment will be provided by Pauline Saunders, Kathy McCarthy, Stewart Buchanan, James Boyle & Irish Dancing by Aidan & Rachael McGinley, who are all giving their time free of charge. M.C. on the night will be Nicholas Crossan. Everyone is very welcome. Please bring a friend & support this worthy cause. Donegal Action for Cancer Care
Donegal Action for Cancer Care invites you to an Interdenominational Service for those affected by cancer. It will take place in St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, on Sunday, April 27, at 3pm. It will give people an opportunity to come together to remember their loved ones, to give thanks for healing and to have hope for the future. Everyone is welcome. Clan Clonmany
Community Compost Workshop will be help in Clonmany on April 17. Further details on this course are to follow later. Rasheny FC Grand Draw
Our annual presentation dance and draw takes place on Sunday May 4. First prize in the draw is 10,000 euro cash with many other valuable prizes. Amongst the prizes are : a trip for 2 to Las Vegas; a week for 2 in Portugal; a 46 inch TV; a year’s membership for 2 at Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa; the hire of a marquee with food supplied for 40 people; a lap top computer; a weekend for 2 in Paris and a mountain bike. Tickets are priced at 130 euro – with a meal for 2 on each ticket. They are now on sale from committee members.
Resource Centre
Badminton every Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm, badminton is open to all children from age 6 upwards. New members are always welcome.
Keep-fit classes for women every Monday morning from 10 - 11am and Wednesday evenings from 7 - 8.15pm. There is also a keep-fit session for men every Wednesday evening from 8.30 - 9.30pm.

Clonmany Shamrock’s lotto
The Shamrock’s lotto numbers drawn on April 6 were: 7, 12, 16 and 20. There was no winner of the jackpot which has now risen to €8,900. The winners of 20 euro were: Alex Meehan, New York, Anthony McDaid, Magheramore and Dan Devlin, Tullagh.
