Gleneely Colts FC Development Big Draw will take place in McGrory’s backroom bar, Culdaff, on Friday April 18 from 11pm, with the band Inspiration in attendance. First prize is 15,000 euro with eleven other great cash prizes to be won. Your support would be very much appreciated by all.
Sponsored walk
A sponsored walk is being organised in aid of St Lukes Hospital Dublin and the day-care unit of the Oncology Ward in Letterkenny Hospital. The walk will take place from Culdaff to Malin and back via McSheffrey’s Bridge on May 18 at 2pm. All welcome to take part or for sponsor cards please ring 93 79166.

Sympathy
We offer sympathy to the family and friends of Marie Conaghan whose funeral took place to St Mary’s Graveyard, Bocan on Easter Monday. Marie held a long association with Culdaff and it was her wish to be buried here with her husband. Our condolences to her sons Paul, Michael and Rory, her daughters Joanne and Claire and to the wider family circle. May she Rest in Peace.
Defibrillator Group
Bocan Community Defibrillator Group is holding its annual concert and dance in Bocan Hall on Friday May 9. Music is by Dominic Mc Daid with guest appearances, more details later.

Gleneely FC Lotto
The numbers drawn in the Gleneely FC Lotto last week were 9, 19, 22 and 23. The monthly meeting of the Gleneely Colts FC will take place in The Club House on Saturday, April 12 at 7pm. All tickets and money for the Big Draw on April 18 should be handed at this meeting. All committee members are requested to attend.
Youth Football
The under 12 & 14 training will continue on Friday night at 6pm. All interested should attend and take gear and boots with them as well. The usual 2-euro fee. The session will finish at 7.30pm and parents are asked to collect the children on time Under 16s and 18s continue to Wednesday at 6.45.

Albert Doherty would like to take this opportunity to thank all those that supported the recent fundraising concert in aid of David Nikons Work in Zambia. David Rhoda and their family have been living and working in Zambia for the past nine years. The amount raised was 5,500 euro and sincere thanks to all those that contributed their services and gifts for auction and those that helped on the night, providing entertainment, food, auctioneer ring and those for the use of the Greenbank Hall.
