Death

The death has occurred at Carndonagh District Hospital after a short illness of Mick Quigley, Lowertown, Malin. The large number of people who called to his wake at his sister Kathleen’s home at Ballylannon, Malin to offer their sympathy and attended his funeral reflected the high esteem in which he was held. He was a quiet good natured man who had a great love of music and gardening. His Requiem Mass was celebrated by Fr Brian Brady.  Hymns were sung by Danny McCarron and the Lessons were read by his nieces Irene and Margaret. Prayers of the Faithful were read by his nephew Sean and his grandniece Aoibheann and grand-nephew Ronan. Offertory Gifts were brought to the altar by his grand-nieces Caoimhe and Shauna and his grand-nephew Oran.  Deepest sympathy is extended to his sister Kathleen, his brother Wully (New York), to his nieces Irene, Margaret and Patricia and nephews Sean and Kevin and all his grand-nieces and grand-nephews and his friends.
