Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Brendan Campbell, Bohillion, Burt, who died during the week.

 

Confirmation

 

Through the years there has been a great tradition by parents and the community who help with the tea in the Fowler Hall after the confirmation ceremony. Once again, your support – by baking buns, cakes etc –  would be very much appreciated. These items can be left in the Fowler Hall after 10am on Saturday, May 10.

Book Sale.

 

The hugely successful Burt sale in Burt Hall raised a massive 2,830 euro for the Oncology Unit in Letterkenny General Hospital. Kathleen would like to say thank you to everyone who supported it in any way. Congratulations must also go to everyone who was involved in making the book sale such a fantastic success.

 

Aileach Women’s Group

 

The next meeting will take place tonight,  (Wednesday ) April 30 at 8pm in Burt GAA Club.

 

Coffee Morning

 

A Coffee Morning in aid of the Alzheimer’s Association will be held in Burt Hall on Saturday, May 3 from 12.30 – 2.30pm. It is being organised by the Burns family in Burt. Your support would be very much appreciated.

 

Auction

 

An auction in aid of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Research will be held on Sunday, May 6 at 6pm in Tully’s Bar, Carndonagh. There will be signed football shirts, holidays etc. Please support this very worthy cause. Your support would be very much appreciated.

 

Inch Lake Golf Open

 

Inch Lake Golf Open at Foyle Golf Club on May 24, supported by Inch Island Community Association. Cost is 40  euro per player, covers play. Four course meal and prizes. 20 euro deposit required for registration. Numbers are limited. Contact Denise or Lisa on 9360822.

 

Irish Dancing Classes

 

Irish Dancing Classes with McCaul Academy in the Fowler Hall, Tooban on Monday 4.45 – 6pm and in St Aengus National School, Bridgend on Wednesday 3 – 4pm and Thursday 5 – 6.30pm. Beginners of all ages welcome.
