Office services

If you would like any typing, printing, photocopying, faxing, emailing, laminating or binding done, you can avail of these services there for a small fee.

Dance

A fundraising dance will be held in the Ballyliffin Hotel on Sunday 15th July. The event has been organised to raise money for the campaign in sending Letterkenny man Alan Doherty to the US for surgery.

Alan was born without a chin and needed an operation to improve his quality of life. People are invited to come along to the dance and support the campaign.

Youth trip

Youth trip to Croagh Padraig.

The trip takes place on Sunday 22nd July for those aged 18-30 years of age, and it will cost 35 sterling.

Charity Dance

There will be a dance in support of the Inishowen Cancer Support Group in the Malin Hotel on Friday August 3rd featuring Inishowen Smokie with special guest, Ballymoney’s answer to Big Tom, Alistair Coyles, as well as Donegal’s NoI Accordian player John Mc Geoghan. Dancing is from 11pm to 2.00am and admission is €5.

Tickets for sale at outlets around Inishowen also pay at the door on the night of the dance. Three door prizes and raffle on the night.

Sports day
This year’s Carrowmenagh Sports will take place on Sunday 1st July, Commencing at 2.30 pm. With all the usual attractions, this promises to be a great day of fun and entertainment for all ages. Sideshows and events will include 5-a-side football, penalty kick, mini-golf, tug-o-war, horseshoe throwing, children’s and adult’s races, fancy dress, bonny baby. Little Miss Tremone, Master of Tremone and Glamorous Granny. The Sports Queen will be selected on the day and the main attraction for the children will of course be the bouncy castle. Refreshments will be available with the ice cream and chip vans in attendance. Don’t miss a great day out for all.

Yoga

Football
Carrowmenagh FC Lotto numbers drawn on 3rd June were 5, 12, 19, 24. There was no jackpot winner. Winners of €20 were Hicket _ John Killen; Two Robert’s, _ Gillens Shop Moville; Georgina Houghton, _ Neil; Josie Farren, Carrowmenagh; Smith Family, Tullyalley Redcastle. The next draw will take place in Tremone Bar on Sunday with a jackpot of €3,500.

New Cookery Book
The Wesley Hall intend to produce a new Cookery Book before the end of the year- do you have a favourite recipe or handy tip you would like to have included, If so email it to kateoconnor101@eircom.net or telephone 9374725, as soon as possible.

Host families
Host families are being sought for Spanish/Basque students from Thursday 28th June until Thursday 26th July. Families in towns and rural areas who have children aged between 13 and 17 years of age can get further details by ringing Patricia on 074 9361398 or 0863627176.

Achill trip
A trip to the house of prayer in Achill will take place on Saturday 28th July. The fare is €20 and the bus leaves Moville at 7am via Gleneely, Malin, Carn and Buncrana. For bookings, telephone Sarah, 0861939125 or Breege on 93 67152.

Extra members for “The Flight of The Earls” Musical are needed as soon as possible. Rehersals every Tuesday at 8pm. Guitar lessons every Wednesday at 7pm. Drama
Moville and district Family Resource centre will run a Drama Project for 12 days from 25th June to 11th July. This project is free but places are limited. For more information please contact Mary McKinney at the family resource Centre on 93-85548. The project is supported by the Dormant Accounts Fund and North West Drugs Task Force.

Grow

Sports day

Golf Classic

Ballyliffin Golf Club are holding a golf classic, with over €3,000 in prizes, this Friday June 1st in aid of four local charities, Inishowen Disability Action Group, Inishowen Women’s Outreach, White Oaks, Radharc Na Sleibhte SRU Carndonagh. Scottish trip

Volunteers needed
Would you like to meet new people and learn new skills. Good Morning Inishowen is a new service for Older People in Inishowen. If You have 2 or 3 hours to spare each week and You would like to get involved with Older People in the community then You might be interested in becoming a Volunteer at the Buncrana Centre. Volunteers who are recruited and trained then participate in making calls to Older People in the Inishowen area.
